Rotunda Vocal Ensemble
The Rotunda vocal ensemble was formed in 1992 by
young, music-lover intellectuals. Our name means "bastion", "circuit"
in figurative sense. With this we would like to express that we sound
compositions selected from several eras and genres of thč musical literature of
the world. Besides church music compositions of various eras, our repertiore
features compilations from renaissance madrigals, Negro sprituals, Christmas
songs and songs written to Virgin Mary. You can listen to us most often in
church concerts, but we are also regular and proud participants of festivals and
choir appointments held at various places in Hungary. We have already
popularized the Hungarian choir culture in Austria and Italy.
Conductor Mrs. Annamŕria Tóth Mózer graduated from Budapest Training
College in 1992, then from thč Musical Department of ELTE in 1998.
She works as a music-teacher in a school located in Budapest.
